The Master Bedroom Ceiling
The goal is to raise the ceiling with a painting of a tree canopy and sky.
Using glaze techniques so the surface would capture light.
To begin this project we must first establish some trees over a
blue sky. These may not be exactly what we will end up with but
this is a way to begin to see how colors and spacial relationships
will develope.
As we progress we begin to add clouds and detail to the trees.
By creating more layers we are essentially and depth
and therefore raising the ceiling through illusion.

The final piece.
The Master Bathroom
This room had a 50 foot interior wall which was rather obtrusive as a blank
white wall. The idea of a mural was proposed to add a sense of space to the
bathroom as well as to give the owner something to look at as they sat in their hot tub.
Surrounded by mirrors the mural envelopes you so you feel as though you are surrounded
by an English Landscape.

The
"Florida" Room
This Kitchen / Eating area overlooks a pool and the backyard.
Some floral accents were added to bring some of that warm weather indoors.
